having no doubts anymore Echo then press [YES] and proceeded with the evolution.

Activating the evolution Echo's body started to glow and a ring of forcefield started to surrounds him.
The light surrounding him formed layers of thin sheets of energy and started to cover Echo's body like an egg acting as a protective layer to avoid harm and foreign objects that may hinder the evolution.
Inside the egg Echo's body is growing and expanding in size, his muscles became more robust, and his ears shortened for a bit and has a sharpened look on it.
as the evolution process continues, the genetic reagents Echo chooses for this evolution started to show it's effects. his legs became more springy and tough while a black and green colored scarf made of leaves grows on his neck. the previous yellow colored pattern on his body became green as well, fully changing his outer appearance.
finally Taiko's soul is the only one left and as it fuses to his body the light glows even brighter, blinding the surroundings.
as the light finally dimmed out a notification pops out waking Echo up.

Upon opening his eyes he immediately looks at his surroundings and saw that he is currently in a box made of blue colored grid lines, and in the middle is an interface with a hologram of a drum on it.

Fusing with the soul of Taiko your body felt an abnormal beat, like a sound of drums drumming and becoming more and more powerful as the time goes.

Seeing this message Echo couldn't help but be surprised "What the freak kind of trouble did i run to this time?" laughing at his luck he decided to check first the content of the trial of drums.

"seems a bit imbalance, but the focus is alright agility then magic to fully take advantage of the spell i'll be getting after fusing with Taiko" satisfied with how his stats are arrange echo then started to allocate his remaining stat points.
focusing on his agility then spread some to magic while also covering for the strength to balance it out.

"I think this is enough for now, After finishing this quest all stats will increase by ten" Saving his stats Echo then return to the interface and started the trial of drums.

A soon as he press the yes button a blinding bright light surrounded him once again.

The bright light slowly fades away as the surrounding scenery changes as well. A snowfield area is the current location of the quest and he is now in the middle of the Forrest freezing
Echo is now inside some of a young boy's body as if watching a cutscene from the eyes of the protagonist.
The boy of unknown origins suddenly wakes up finds himself freezing in the middle of the forest. Feeling dizzy and his head is aching the young boy tries to remember anything, unfortunately any memory of his origins all seem too blurry for him and the only thing he remembers is his name.
Taiko, the young boy's name is Taiko but his origins is still unknown even to himself. He tried to look around his surroundings and see if there's any hint of where he is currently, but unfortunately he still doesn't have any idea of where is his location right now.
Feeling the panic of being alone Taiko's began to cry, but no emotion could be seen on his face. No matter how hard he tried not even a shed of tear comes out of his eye.
The young boy tried to shout in hopes someone might heard and look for him, only to be silenced by a pile of snow which falls down from a tree.
It was only until then he decided to walk in a certain direction and maybe he can find a village or any other form of civilization.
it's been a week but he still doesn't have any luck in finding a single person and the only thing that keeps him from dying of Hunger are insects that he found inside the trunk of a tree.
