Giselle and Jenna headed out together.
"Ah... I'm sorry for getting really excited back then," Jenna apologized for scaring Giselle out of blue.
"It's alright. Now that I think about it, I do remember you speaking to my daughter."
"Yeah, wow. Who would have thought that I'll be seeing you again? Man, talk about small world." Jenna exclaimed.
Giselle kept staring at Jenna, looking at her calm face. She felt that Jenna might be younger. On the other hand, Jenna's mind was puzzled.
"Umm... so you will be Mr. Jayce's new editor right? Lucky!!!" Jenna cried.
"Why is that so?" Giselle felt curious to know if she's actually lucky or not.
"He is really awesome and he writes all those romantic stories. I mean who doesn't like romance, don't you agree, Mrs. Giselle?" Jenna replied enthusiastically.
It was bothering Giselle for a while. She thought she would ignore it but still, the fact that Jenna keeps mentioning made Giselle worry a lot.
"Uh... Jenna? can you please stop it?" Giselle snapped.
"Hmm... oh... I'm sorry, what?" Jenna was unsure of what's going on.
"You keep calling me Mrs. Giselle. I'm actually divorced. It's Ms. Giselle now. You should address me as Ms. Giselle from here onwards." Giselle spoke firmly.
It surprised Jenna. A divorced woman with a child, why would Ms. Grey be interested in her. What's their relationship? Jenna went crazy thinking about it.
"I'm sorry Ms. Giselle. Since I saw your child, I imagined that she lived with her parents together. I apologize again." Jenna confessed.
"Ah, man. I keep screwing up. I wanted to just have a friendly conversation. Why do I have to say that and make people uncomfortable..." Jenna screamed and cried.
Looking at this girl weeping out loud made Giselle burst into laughter. She started to smile and warm up more in front of Jenna as she looked pure and kind.
"It's alright. I can understand. Plus, you never made me feel uncomfortable. It's me who's an introvert." Giselle smiled.
Hearing Giselle talks freely shocked Jenna. She saw the woman's gentle and the bright smile. It made her feel some sort of connection as if they have known each other for a long time.
While the two ladies almost got even more friendly with each other in the gist of a time, Jenna's phone started buzzing continuously. At first, Jenna ignored it. However, the call never stopped. It kept ringing on and on which made Jenna furious.
"You should answer it. It could be something serious." Giselle worried.
"Oh, Nah, it's nothing." Jenna kept ignoring her phone.
It never stopped ringing and continued to become a nuisance. This time Giselle seriously got worried and excused herself to leave Jenna alone.
"Ms. Giselle!!!" Jenna called.
"Next time, we should hang out together. Got it?" Jenna shouted her message.
"Sure. Take care." Giselle agreed.
"BYE!!!" Jenna waved as she watched her leave.
Next, Jenna took out her mobile to check with an extremely angry face. But the moment she noticed the person's name who has been trying to reach her continuously, Jenna's face changed.
"Maybe it's fate," Jenna told herself as she quickly boarded the cab.
...
"How many calls do I have to make for you to notice me?" the person yelled quickly as soon as Jenna appeared.
"Ms. Grey!!! I have a life too. Do you remember?" Jenna felt a little angry.
It was Lillian Grey who had kept calling her non-stop. She requested Jenna to visit her Asap. And when Jenna reached, all she could see was Lillian in the kitchen, trying so hard to COOK. The entire kitchen was in a mess with burnt food all around. The trash can was overflowing with food wastes and the countertop was completely soaked in dark color sauce, which scared Jenna.
"Just what in the world is going on here, Ms. Grey," Jenna asked her first question.
Lillian who's already in the mess answered looked like 'a naughty baby getting caught by its mother'.
"Jenna, help me!!!" Lillian's eyes begged for support.
...
The next few hours, Jenna worked so hard in clearing out the mess. While Lillian went to her room to clean herself, Jenna revamped the entire kitchen until it sparkled. By the time, it ended Lillian came back downstairs, all fresh and clean. She went straight to hug Jenna who refused it furiously.
"Ms. Grey, you made me work, on my off-day. You better have a good explanation that will stop me from killing you." Jenna's eyes turned evil releasing fumes out of her nose like an angry bull.
It frightened Lillian and she vomited the truth.
"Lucy's coming over for a date and I wanted to surprise her with my cooking..." Lillian mumbled.
"So, you were trying to impress her uh, Ms. Grey?" Jenna mocked.
Lillian's face sulked. It looked like she really reflects on her actions. Seeing Jenna help her every single time made Lillian even sadder.
"I'm sorry Jenna. You can leave. I'll take care of it from here..." Lillian tried to put up a smile.
