Chương 70: Chapter 69 Spontaneous
He quickly got up and jumped in the bathroom for a shower. After coming out he couldn't help but run his hands around his body feeling the clear bouncy smooth skin that he now had.
Theo had actually feared that his skin would only look supple and smooth but actually, it would be stiff as metal. Thankfully for Theo, it came with the ability to turn as strong as iron at will.
After coming out he immediately smelt the leftover slime that slipped off his body.
'Note to self, in the next possible physical upgrade lay on plastic' With that thought, he opened up the windows and scrubbed the carpet clean.
With the cleanup done he went down to make dinner. Megan joined Theo for dinner before asking many questions about his sudden glow in the skin. Theo gave the excuse of living a healthy life style.

New Day Thursday Morning at 09:00 am
During my martial arts practice, I decided to check just what my new skin can do. So here is what I have discovered.
Firstly my skin only turns iron when I will it, which is great but it appears I have to train it more if want it to be an instinctive feeling that could save my life in a dire situation.
Secondly, While in my iron state I do not burn or bruise, also if hit something there are times I can hear the sound metal clashing with said object.
Thirdly, this ability of mine only makes my skin hard as iron, meaning the rest of my internal organs are still the same.
In conclusion, If I were to be punched in the stomach then the force of the impact is reduced by only slightly before the rest of it makes its way past my skin causing internal damage to my organs. So yeah I'm not invulnerable.
And lastly when I turn iron my stamina drastically shortens the longer I use it.
I did think about training it to become instinct but that meant I had to put myself at constant danger and I'm not confident enough to do that on my own.
After that I showered and made a waffle and crepe for breakfast. Putting everything on the table I shout for Megan "Megan breakfasts ready!!"
"I'm coming!" Shouted Megan
A few minutes later Megan and could be seen enjoying our breakfast with a cup of tea.
"So What's the plan for today" I asked while pouring chocolate over my waffles.
"Rose and Sophia have gone to kindergarten for some sort of special day I don't really remember. So I was thinking we go out and do something spontaneous" Said Rose while sipping at her milk tea
"Spontaneous? yeah let's do it I could do with some different" I said
"Good, what do you think about going to the gun range and getting our selves a gun licence" Said Megan.
I was excited and said "Let's do it but if we do get a gun we should stay with a pistol also get our selves two safes to keep it out of others hands"
"Great, let's go after this" Said Megan with equal excitement

Megan and I are now at the gun store. We got our background checked for any past criminal record before being allowed to own a gun. After that we were escorted by one of the staff to the shooting range.
Megan and I opted for a pistol as it was easier to control and clean. The guy behind the desk recommended that we take a few of the pistols and try them out before buying, which I appreciated greatly.
The guy escorting is Scott. He has short black hair, a white colored T-shirt and lights brown cargo pants. With noise-cancelling headphones in hand we walked towards the shooting range.

Forgive me, I didn't do my research on California gun laws until I fished writing so lets just pretend that this worlds government is less restrictive and that there very few gun related crime.
