Chương 5: Chapter 5:
Perhaps, he had a stressful day at school today... Who knows?
I still kept my silence as I peeked at him from time to time, just to ensure that he's doing okay. It felt really weird to keep peeking at him and it made me feel as if I was a pedophile. He felt me constantly bobbing my head around him and finally can't help but just turn around and told me to stop doing that.
I was getting worried and was afraid something was wrong. However, I still kept quiet as I waited for him to calm down and chill abit before letting him tell me whatever was going on in that head of his that made him looked stressful. The bus finally came and both of us boarded.
We took a seat and I decided to shut my eyes and rest a little as I was feeling the heaviness of my eyelids. Soon enough, I was swaying from side to side like a coconut tree by the beach. I fell asleep and swayed along with the motions of the bus. Subconsciously, my head landed on his shoulder.
It felt as though I was lying on a wide and spacious pillow, not too sturdy, not too limp. It was just sufficient to give me good support. I was so comfortable, I didn't know I was snuggling closer and closer to his neck. Hot breaths blew gently on his neck, making Jason shudder and tremble slightly.
He turned cautiously to my side, and lowered his shoulders slightly, careful not to wake me up. There was nothing he could do but lend me his shoulders. "Is she so tired? I wonder what she went through today...?" Jason thought in his mind.
As the bus rolled closer to our alighting stop, he gently shook my shoulders and roused me awake. I groggily opened my eyes, unwilling to wake up just yet. Then, I realised I was sleeping on his shoulders! It came to me as a big tight slap in my face as I blushed a deep shade of red. I was shock and embarrassed.
"How am I going to face him in future!" These were my thoughts as I tried to wiggle out of the bus as quickly as I could. I walked faster than I've ever done and tried dodging him, wishing that I'd never done that on the bus.
