Chương 3: ''How Can You Do This To Me?!''

'Long Chen... Zhang Qiao... They're getting married?! This can't be... How could they?!' Song Xia thought, shocked.

Li Wuxi sighed, upon seeing her reaction. She worriedly shook Song Xia's body and asked, ''Xia, are you okay?''

Song Xia returned back to her senses when Li Wuxi shook her body. ''Mom... this card... How can it be..''

Song Xia couldn't complete her own sentence as she was still in shock.

Li Wuxi looked at the invitation card and spoke coldly, ''Xia, this was sent by the Old Master of Zhang Family as they wanted us to attend the wedding.

"But your grandfather has already rejected the invitation as you know Long Family are our enemies..

"I actually didn't want to tell you this because you were already hurt but Mom doesn't want you to be hurt again, so I had to tell you!''

Song Xia bit her lips as she picked up the invitation card and went to the kitchen. Li Wuxi followed her quickly.

- In the Kitchen

Song Xia turned on the stove as she expressionlessly put the card above the stove.

The card burnt as she spoke expressionlessly, ''Mother, I don't have any interest in either Zhang Family or Long Family from now on!''

Song Xia stood still until the whole card turned into ashes. She turned around and walked towards the door.

She stopped and said, ''Mother, I'm going to have some rest. Please, don't disturb me!'' Then, she left the kitchen.

Li Wuxi wanted to console her but she decided not to disturb her daughter at last.

- Song Xia's Room

Song Xia dialed her best friend's number and waited until the other line spoke.

''Hello! Xiao Xia, you finally called! I missed you so much!'' Zhang Qiao's sweet voice rang on her ears.

Song Xia remained cold and said angrily, ''Why did you break our promise?! We promised each other not to interfere in each other's relationships. Qiaoqiao, why did you decide to marry Brother Chen all of a sudden?!''

Zhang Qiao stayed silent for a while before speaking arrogantly, ''All of a sudden?! Excuse me! Me and Long Chen have been in love after your betrayal to him.

"He was desperate for love and who gave him that?! Me! And you were the one who broke the promise first!

"You said that you wouldn't interfere with me and Guan Shan's relationship! But, still who was the one who told us to break up?!''

Song Xia coldly said, ''That was because I became his wife! But that was one year ago, forget about the past! Quickly break off the marriage between you and Long Chen!''

Zhang Qiao chuckled as she snorted, ''Don't even think of controlling me again! I can marry whoever I want to! It's none of your business!''

''None of my business? Weren't you the one who told me to marry Guan Shan in the first place?! Because of you, I married a cheater!''

Song Xia couldn't stand her arrogance at all.

''Yes! I was the one who told you to do that! Just because Guan Shan wanted the inheritance of Song Family and I thought that he'll be mine afterwards!

"But that bastard! He cheated on me as well! I wanted you to go through the same pain of being cheated on! Now, I've succeeded!

''I don't have him now so I exchanged him with Long Chen. He has a great family status and family background. I would love to be his woman!''

Zhang Qiao showed Song Xia her true nature and blurted out all her plans because she knew Song Xia won't be able to stop her.

''How could you do this to me?! If you knew that he was a cheater from the start, why didn't you tell me?!-''

Song Xia stopped questioning her as she knew that she won't answer her.

''Listen, I won't be your best friend anymore. Because you're uglier than those poor beggars out there on the streets! You don't deserve to be my best friend! I mean, you don't even deserve to be my friend!

"Brother Chen only wanted to play with you as you know that your family and his family are big enemies so he only dated you because he wanted to defeat your family and show that Long family is better than yours!

"I don't want to waste my precious time with such an ugly trash like you! Bye, Ugly b*tch!'' Zhang Qiao arrogantly said and ended the call.
