He did not look down on Dan Quan's open gastrectomy, he looked down on it very much. He was at most at the beginning of Specialist Level. If he could not handle the middle and later parts of the surgery well, then he would only be at advanced Novice Level. For Ling Ran, there was no use for him to refer to his skills.
