Chương 14: Family Reunion?
Yonna sneezed on her food, she didn't expect it to come out unexpectedly.
"Ah Yonna eww don't sneeze on the food." Haru was disgusted she moved the plates away from Yonna's outbreak.
"I didn't mean to, someone was probably talking about me just now." She laughed nervously hoping it wasn't a coincidence.
The next day Yonna went up to her office, waiting for her arrival was her Hyung sitting crossed legged at her desk impatiently.
"Yonna CEO Moon requested you today." This time her Hyung wasn't in his joking mood, he was stern and serious.
She crunched up her brows wishing she had skipped work.
"I...I don't really want to, Hyung can't you be understanding."
"This is business, not some child's play. I don't care what your personal affair with him is, you know very well that personal feelings and business are both separate things so leave it at that. If you want to go play around do it somewhere else, we don't need children here. I run a business not a daycare." He didn't give Yonna any room to argue and left her.
As she drove up to the hospital ran by Taejoon she reminisced on the past.
'This place has so many bitter sweet memories, from finding out I was pregnant to giving birth.'
She walked to the elevator and brought a suit cases filled with expensive jewelry she thought was suitable for a wedding.
Just as she was about to approach the elevator it opened and Yonna was pushed aside by a women and a couple of men, she fell along side with the cases.
Yonna looked up furious, the person who pushed her aside was a women.
The women turned around and only smirked walking away as higher ups trailed behind her. When Yonna realized who she was her face froze.
'Is that Joy?' Joy was the older cousin of Yonna's. Joy was her eldest uncles illegitimate first child, she was always spoiled and even won favor by her grandmother because of her sympathy towards Joy. She basically was loved by the whole world and was known for her beauty. But Joy always had a grudge against Yonna's family
For taking over the position of CEO, she wanted to be the big missy of the Kong family and wanted all the exclusive and limite timed jewelry Yonna was gifted with.
They both never got along, Yonna in the past had always tried to make peace with her relatives, but their selfishness and cruel ways for power and succession disgusted her. It was two things that split the families apart from each other.
"Excuse me miss but you pushed me?" Yonna set aside her hatred for Joy and only acted like any stranger would in their situation. She didn't want to sound bias and cause trouble because of her hatred towards Joy.
Joy halted and turned around, she crossed her arm bug eyed.
"And so, I didn't do anything wrong did I?"
Yonna shifted her head and let put a laugh, then glared straight at her.
"Do you want me to explain what you did wrong, or is it not common sense to you? You obviously pushed me right when you proceeded to leave the elevator."
"Oh that, I'm sorry but I'm a busy women and don't have time for family reunions so why don't we chat later? Oh and here, you'll need this I bet that cave man isn't paying child support, wait never mind! You don't even receive child support cause you don't know the man you lusted over with." Joy laughed walking away as the money rained on Yonnas' meek fallen body. It was well known in her family that Yonna had given birth with a empty spot as their father. She was marked as a disgrace because she was a women and she had given birth at young age.
As Joy was about to leave she was very close to bump into someone.
"Hubby I didn't know you'd be here. I cleaned your office earlier but they told me you wouldn't be at your office the hole day." She cupped her hand over Taejoon's left arm pouting her lips out.
He saw her hands grasping tightly onto his . In disgust he put on pure silk gloves and forced her hands off of his arm, he then grabbed disinfected wipes an started to vigorously wipe his left arm down. After he finished he removed his gloves and suit handing it over to assistant Nam to dispose of it.
"Don't touch me like you know me. Please start understanding your place and position don't you dare ever get ahead of yourself." He fixed his tie and left her dumbfounded and cold. He approached Yonna still meek on the floor and supported her up, he gathered all the suit cases and grasped her hand tightly forcing her into the elevator
Yonna finally woke from her painful blow, she saw her hand were in Taejoon's huge warm grasp. Yonna felt so worthless and disrespected that she couldn't defend herself against those insults by someone so hateful, to the point she felt like she had stoop to a lower level then Joys.
They arrived in his office, Yonna sat quietly down on the couch still trying to hold herself together, thinking about how she felt. She was so meek she didn't even try to push Taejoon away. She felt a warm brush of a hand over her soft cheeks, she was now face to face with Taejoon. They were both so close she could feel his breath tingling on the surface of her skin. Maybe it was the feeling of moral support from someone just being there or was the fact she couldn't hold it in anymore but she started to sob.
It had been awhile since she felt that way, someone constantly pushing all her efforts and what she had worked so hard for down the drain. She always tried hard to be happy for everyone sake, but today she finally released all her tension. She was given a hug by the one person she wish had no meaning to her left. Yonna let herself go crying into Taejoon's chest.
Taejoon didn't know why she cried but only knew it may have been from the encounter with Joy. He couldn't hear anything from the two, but only saw Joy causing trouble form the moment she pushed Yonna aside. He hugged her tighter not knowing how much pain she was in.
'I promise this time I'll stay by your side and push away any guy wooing you over. This time for sure I'll protect you and make anyone that hurts you pay.'
Chương 15: To Close For Comfort
In his arms Yonna felt safe, his embrace was so comforting that she could breathe at ease. Being so close in contact she could smell the cologne he wore. All her anxiety washed away as if it was like a huge storm had past.
They stood in their embrace for an hour before she pushed away awkwardly blushing looking away from his contact.
"Sor... Forgive me for causing trouble for you CEO Moon, I'll be taking my leave for today. I don't think today is a great day for this."
She got up putting on a stern front, bowing down to acting like nothing happened.
"I'll send someone to grab my cases, good day to you CEO Moon." As soon as she was about to leave her waist was wrapped by Taejoon's long arms. She was forcibly taken and fell to his lap
"CEO MOO..." Yonna was in shock, she understood what she did a little bit ago but this isn't it a bit much.
"Yonna don't leave" with her hair inches from Taejoon's nose, he could smell the aroma of fresh coconut.
"You know I'm already Yonna." She clasped her hands onto her mouth 'why am I so dumb, I should've kept my distance from the very beginning.'
Yonna finally found an opening and left Taejoon's embrace. She ran out the door pushing assistant Nam aside, not even looking back. For the very first time in assistant Nams' whole career, he saw the terrifying monster he called boss troubled? Taejoon's tie and some of the buttons of his shirt were loose and his hand covered both his eyes as he lightly rubbed them.
Assistant Nam stayed silent, not wanting to disturb the beast.
"Assistant Nam, how does one love?" Assistant Nam almost chocked, he didn't expect such oblivious question to come out of Taejoon himself.
"Forgive CEO Moon I would give you the answers if I knew." He bowed vigorously bitting his lips. Not only did he not know how to answer Taejoon but he was single and lonely himself.
'If I knew how I would already be married and having children, but I've been single all my life.'
"Hmm...I guess I'll have to find out?" When they first fell in love Taejoon and Yonna didn't really ask each other out, they just were stuck together.

Yonna rampaged home her face was flushed red. She slammed the door hard behind her getting the twins attention.
"Mommy are you sick, you look like Sarang when she gets sick?" She came eager to touch her Mom's cheek.
"Mommy's okay." She grasped Sarang's hand leaving it attached to her pouting face.
That night Yonna laid on bed having the twins in her arms, she couldn't sleep having so much in mind. One thing she remembered in particular was Joy, Yonna remembered how Joy linked hands with Taejoon and called him hubby. Thinking back on it he did say he wanted rings for a wedding.
Yonna deeply sighed, hitting her pained heart. 'Am I jealous, why should I be we broke up already... so why am I yearning for him?' She thought about how he helped her up, to hugging her and telling her not to leave why did he though?
She brushed everything off and fell to sleep. The next morning Daesong came over.
"Uncle!!!" He brought gifts over and handed each gift to them.
"Uncle missed you guys to." Patting both their small heads. Chinhwa was the most happiest to see him, he wanted to discuss so much things with him and his new interest... stocks.
"What are you doing here?" Yonna had her arms crossed waiting for an explanation.
"Can't I be, I am your older brother and their Uncle." Laughing stupidly.
"Anyway I really just came here to get informed on what happened yesterday." Yonna sat him down and gave him a cup of tea, as the twins were playing right in front of them. Daesong became stern, waiting for her to talk.
"Hyung yesterday I saw Joy. I'm pretty sure you get the jess on what went down, it wasn't pretty." She put her knees up laying her face onto her knees. He understood what she meant, he never did also get along with them or even acknowledge their existence. When they passed by in banquets he was forced to smile and act all friendly but behind all that he wanted to obliterate them.
He sighed deeply "if she wasn't apart of the Kong family then I would push her to the edge. But because grandmother favors her the most I can't do much about her, even if I'm from the main family and is the CEO grandmother is part of the head of the family. As of now my men are still trying to find dirt on Joy's family, lately they've been a little to close for comfort. Im pretty sure their trying to steal my position, it's been keeping me on alert." He clenched his teeth.
"Hyung don't worry if they do get to close I might be able to get the CCTV on what happened yesterday. Theirs also been rumors going around that Joy's been negotiating with foreign gangsters." She gave Daesong a blithe smile reading her hyungs' mind.
"It's what I heard to but we can't conform it with this little information, if she really is in contact with them then she or someone else behind her id concealing it nicely. She may be a stuck up maggot but she's quite the smart one."
