Qiao Nan was confident that if she could finish washing all the curtains at this point in time, they would have turned dry by night time.
The curtains were dirty but there was no oil or moisture. As such, many thick layers of dust had accumulated on it. A small flick on the curtains would cause all the dust on them to fly all over the place like snowflakes, let alone washing them.
Qiao Nan soaked the curtain in water. She had only stepped on it a couple of times and the water in the basin had turned grey.
Without a word, Qiao Nan poured away the dirty water, replenished the basin with clean water, and continued washing the curtain. After repeating this step until the water was clear, Qiao Nan then dragged the thick curtain that was dripping with water and threw it on the existing long rows of laundry poles on the patio.
