The conversation stunned Yue Lingsi and Xi Xinyi. They exchanged glances at each other as their eyes darkened. Xi Jiyang disappeared around the staircase and there was an odd atmosphere in the air.

"Grandmother, are you okay?" Xi Xinyi asked as she noticed Deng Wenwen seeming unwell.

"Get her the medicine!" Yue Lingsi responded quickly.

Xi Xinyi heard her and quickly grabbed the medicine while Yue Lingsi poured a glass of water for Deng Wenwen to swallow her medicine.

They helped Deng Wenwen to sit on the sofa, and she recovered after some time.
