Chương 93: No Place To Call Home
"If only there was more that I could do, the barrier surrounding the unknown Land can only be taken down the a god, a celestial would not be able to," she thought out loud.
"These people have been going on like this for a while, they are now used to it, and only by constantly moving can they guarantee their safety," started Hepri, understanding Tria's concern and continued,"There is not much any one can do right now, unless the war stops the unknown Land will continued to experience the effects of the war."
"Yeah, that's true but there is one thing I can do..." she said, but she was not completely sure yet.
"Hm?" Hepri looked in her in confusion.
"Husband, I am going to need your help on this..." she said and smiled at Crei.
Crei smiled back and he didn't even have to say anything, he was ready to do anything Tria asked of her.
Separating themselves from the crowd, they traveled deep into the forest where no eyes were lurking around.
Over the next hour, Crei had created over a hundred of shadows and they were each given an item from Tria and left in all directions.
"Now we have to make our way towards Centria, from there we can take care of the Eye, as well as help the people of this land for a while then they'll be able to stop migrating from place to place with no place to call home."
They continued through the forest, making their way out of that sub-land to Centria.
Somewhere not too far from them, that old man who was telling Tria the story about Gods was running in the opposite direction he was coming from. He heard what Tria had said and the only conclusion he could come up with was that she was the Priestess.
Little did he know that his actions had long been seen through by the group.
"Hepri, Chukah, go take care of it...but first find out where he was going. I don't want any more delays so Crei and I will continue on. You will be able to sense my location so come back soon."
"Yes," they both answered in unison.
Hepri and Chukah were both adept at staying in the shadows and following people, therefore when they chased after the old guy, it wasn't hard to track him.
"You knew that old guy was not genuine, right?" asked Crei.
"Yeah,but he's not with the Eye that is why I didn't think much of it. However, I do need to be more vigilant, because it is not only the Eye's God who is seeking a priestess to exploit."
'That's true,' Crei thought, he should have taken care of that old guy himself. 'Was he blind, how dared he think of another for his wife when he was there?'
Crei had forgotten that he was no longer the handsome prince and was disguised as a commoner, and when Tria started laughing at him, he realized how proud he had just looked.
Feeling teased, he pulled Tria by the waist and bit her ear.
"Stop, haha, you don't want to be seen being affectionate with a frail boy like me, do you?" Tria joked as she pushed him away.
Crei was stunned to hear his wife say such a thing, but he has always like a shameless Tria, she matched his style. To prove his point, he hugged her even tighter while tickling a laughing Tria.
A serious faced Hepri and Chukah had tripped over hearing Tria's laugh from miles away.
Hepri with a blushed face said,"they're not always like that right?"
