Azoth stormed the halls as he walked past Vann. Vann sighed heavily. "Azoth this won't change the outcome. We failed to notice that Black Wolf has allies everywhere. Who knew that had a plan for their escape?"
Azoth turned to Vann, "Do not talk to me about that. They were right in our hands then those two slipped right through our grasp. Now the question is where did they go? And how?"
Azoth slammed the wall, Vann walked up to him, "Get a hold of yourself. You did mention in your last briefing with everyone that he was protecting them? The real question is how? If we try and attack any of the other six and their allies, we might run into the same situation as we did in Vahalin."
Azoth growled as slowly turned to Vann, "I. Am. Aware. Yet every move we might take that fiend is right there to stop our advancement's."
Vann leaned against the wall, "I know, and f we do not figure out where he is hiding, we will not be able move forward on any of our plans."
Azoth gritted his teeth as he look out the window, "True, and we need to get these demons on our side before they do."
Vann nodded as he looked past Azoth, "True but how do we speak to a man that is more cunning than I?"
A demoness walked up to them, "Young master's, my Lord awaits you at the tracks. Please make your bets beforehand. If you wish to speak?"
Vann watched Azoth turn to the woman, "If that lord of yours wants to speak to us then tell him to come to us!"
The demoness glared at him, "Very well, I will tell him—oh and also you may leave this town and never return if you are not here to gamble?"
Azoth growled as Vann stepped in front of him. He shook his head slowly at Azoth before turning to the demoness. "We shall leave in the morning. Thank you."
The demoness bowed as she left them. Azoth fuming grabbed Vann by his kimono. "What was that for? She blatantly told—"
"Azoth," Vann sharply spoke, "I know you are frustrated but this is their territory. We have no choice but to resect their rules. Like it or not." Azoth pulled away from Vann, "Look we now know gambling is part of gaining an audience with anyone higher up. This means that Luna and her warriors will not be able to gain their allegiance so easily?"
Azoth gritted his teeth and tightened his grip. "I see, so what you are saying is that I screwed up?"
Vann nodded at his question, "Yes, and no. With this information we can send in another councilor to finish what we started." Vann walked up to Azoth, "Besides, this is good to know since Black Wolf has no allies where Luna does not either? Am I right?"
Azoth smiled as he calmed down, "Very true. We have time on our side this time. I believe we should work on our weakness's as to overpower the Ren-Ky. As they will have to fight us eventually to get to our King?"
Vann watched Azoth's smiled turn into as devilish grin. "Very Well then. Let us return in the morning as it is late. By the time they come here though we shall have this kingdom fighting against them." Azoth's grin grew as be began to laugh.
While in the shadows one f Wolf's summons watched them. He left to return to Wolf waiting outside.
"So, did Azoth do as I thought he would?"
"Yes, and they think they have the upper hand. Little that they know is that it is not as easy as just gambling to talk to Queen Xiyu." The summon spoke.
"Yes, that is true, you need to do certain things in order to meet with her, and I already know how since I had gone through the process with an old friend." Wolf smiled, he turned to the summon, "Follow Azoth through his shadow, and be sure to report back once we cross blades in the deserts of Isar."
The summon bowed and left to do as he was asked. Wolf tuned to see the demoness, greeting people as they entered the plaza.
"So, what's our nest plan?" Shadow asked in wolf form.
Wolf sighed as he looked to the night sky, "Well, I will not much longer until the calling. For now, we wait and watch. The others have grown exponentially over the allotted time. I am looking forward to seeing them all together." He smiled thinking of the reunion.
"Why don't we talk to King Logan? It might be wise as to let him know about Lily's plan?" Shadow turned into a human, and stood beside Wolf, "Besides, Eledon is going want to know what happened in Vahalin?"
Wolf closed his eyes, "True, and with the death of Gregson, he would like to know what happened to his father-in-law's friend. AS they can bury the dead as to give them a proper burial."
Shadow nodded in agreement. "Yes, I was tragic, but at least the summon you left with Gregson was able to send a message out to Aaron so that Lance and Scarlett were picked up safely."
Wolf growled deeply. "I know, but we are waiting on the report about the negotiations with Aaron and King Fafnir about joining the alliance. That will take some time to go over, let a lone gain an audience."
"True," Shadow sighed, "but we both know that this time will be different as Lance can be head strong when he wants to be, and Scarlett is a force to be reckoned with."
Wolf shuddered the thought, "Yes, all our hopes in gaining the Groma Kingdom in the Kingdom Alliance is riding on their shoulders? While we wait for Luna to snap out of what ever she…" Wolfs voice faided.
Shadow touched his shoulder, "I know, all I can hope for is that Hunter can summon Levi before the talk with Digon?"
Wolf turned to Shadow, "Yes, that is true. Come we will leave now to Grand Dale."
Shadow nodded as they walked into a shadow, vanishing.
