"You guys can pick up whatever memorials or useful items form the bodies of your comrades if you want. We won't be carrying their bodies going forward but if you want to, do it yourself and don't ask for assistance." Shen Tianyu told them as Rong Jian settled down again beside her.

None of them were actually stupid enough to carry bodies through an Ascendant Monument, even if it has been relatively uneventful compared to the stories of others. Some merely grabbed the Cosmo Pouch of their comrades while the more sentimental ones cut off a piece of their clothing or wrapped up a few strands of hair. 

Shen Tianyu and the rest didn't bother with them anymore either as they continued to chat and replenish their energy. When everyone seemed ready to go again, Shen Tianyu stood up. 

"Should we let Ah-Jian have the honor of opening the door to our next destination?" She smirked as she looked at her partner.

"Okay." He replied with a simple one-word answer.
