Chương 58: Aisleen's Fortress

In an unknown place...

"Did I die again? Then did I reincarnate again in another world? Nuggets... everyone..." Jay thought to himself as he opened his eyes.

"Huh? Where am I?" Jay saw that he was currently lying down in a very comfy queen-sized bed that had red sheets on it. It was so comfy that he did not even noticed the pillow his head was laying down on.

He saw that he was currently in a large room. Besides the bed, the only decorations on it was the wall lamps. There was also a square window near the bed and a wooden door.

As he was observing his surrounding, he heard a familiar sound...

Bawk Bawk!!!

Nuggets suddenly came out of nowhere and jumped on top of him. She jumped happily on top of Jay while Jay was lost in thought.

"I guess we both survived the tribulation then. But how am I not dead?" Jay was thinking about this then he realized that every time Nuggets jumped on him, he did not even feel her claws. He then finally realized something...

"Why am I in my Chicken Armor Set? I thought it got burnt together with me after I received that last lighting strike... But why am I getting this uneasy feeling right now..."

Jay then told Nuggets to get off of him since he wanted to remove the armor set right now. But, for some reason, he cannot remove it. No matter what part of the armor set he tried to remove, he cannot remove it.

"WHAT IS HAPPENING!?" Jay shouted as he started to panic...

Nuggets then started laughing and told Jay

"Hahaha!!! Your reaction is really funny!!! I can't really explain what is up with this, but someone else will explain it to you. Make sure to relax for now. We will leave after you are done."

When Jay heard this he told himself.

"This is just a dream! I am just a dead body being transported to a new world right now! This is just a dream! I do not want to become a chicken permanently!"

After a few minutes, Jay decided to just accept his fate then stood up and asked Nuggets to lead him the way since he did not know where he was right now.

Nuggets then lead the way. When they left the room, Jay was shocked. "Isn't this Aisleen's fortress???"

Jay thought to himself since the moment they left the room, Jay noticed that the place had a castle-like interior, with long corridors and banners hanging on the walls. The castle was made out of Crystal Glass, a type of mineral that is commonly found in Holtheim and was favored by female warriors or nobles due to its transparent effect that added some beauty to their weapons or buildings. For some reason, Aisleen decided to use a black dye on it, adding a mysterious feeling to the castle.

As for the banners, it had a symbol of an unknown beast standing on top of a dead man. The symbol of the Kingdom of Bellaflor.

Nuggets then lead Jay towards the central area of the castle, where the throne room is located.

Then two werewolves who was wearing an Ebony Armor Set approached them.

"Miss Aisleen is waiting for you. Mind your manners when speaking to her, brethren."

The werewolves then lead the way for them to the throne room.

While they were walking towards the throne room, Jay thought in his mind

"Woah! Aisleen already rallied the Werewolves to her side! Oh dear... I feel bad for the other factions..."

When Nuggets saw Jay thinking about something, she thought that Jay was nervous so she tried comforting him "Don't worry Jay! Miss Aisleen is a nice person."

Jay then smiled at Nuggets when he knew that Nuggets tried comforting him.

Aisleen's Fortress, Throne Room

Aisleen was currently eating some grapes while she sipped on some wine. She did this while currently sitting on a throne that was made out of Crystal Glass that is dyed in both red and black. Just as she was enjoying the feeling of eating grapes...

"My queen, they have arrived." A large bat that had red eyes flew in the room from a window and said to Aisleen in a deep voice.

"Send them in." The bat then left the room.

Then the large doors in front of her opened.

Jay and Nuggets then walked in and Jay knelt down.

"Lady Aisleen"

Aisleen then almost choked on her grapes as she tried to laugh at Jay.

"Ahahahah!!! Don't embarrass yourself boy! You do not have to kneel down you know... Ahahahah!!!"

When Jay heard this, he realized that Aisleen was still not officially a queen.

He then stood up and tried to talk about the important matter at hand.

"My lady, may I ask how did I get here and what happened before I got here?" Jay asked her.

Aisleen then replied "It's kind of a long story... Why don't I tell you while we have lunch?"

She then clapped three times. Then a bull that was standing upright, to be more precise, a Minotaur wearing a maid costume, walked in the throne room and carried a long table and some chairs.

Then another Minotaur in a chef costume came in the room and started placing food items on the table.

"What the hell? Why is Aisleen using Minotaurs as servants? Isn't it just a waste?" Jay asked himself since Minotaurs had a very high endurance and strength and can easily destroy a 100 man party. And now, she is using them as servants... The heck...

After the minotaurs were done setting up the table and the food, they left the room then Aisleen spoke up.

"Why are you just standing there? Hurry up, take a seat and eat!"

Jay and Nuggets then sat down and started eating.
