Chương 37: New Find

After soaking for a while I decide to get out and walk around to check the whole cave out. As I walk I pick a variety of fruits and enjoy every single one. While walking around I find writing in a language I've never seen across a hidden part of the cave. I walk over and look at the old looking writing up close and tilt my head sideways. I run my hand across it and watch as it lights up and the word "Endless" comes to mind. Endless? Odd...

After Lilith and I finish talking business we catch up a little and she lets me know that she'll be heading out tomorrow for personal matters and I arch an eyebrow in question but she ignores it so I don't push it. "I'll be back soon and hopefully we can all sit down and have dinner together." Lilith says and I give her a small nod as I send her away.

The second Lilith leaves I reach out with my magic to locate Syn but my body turns cold when I can't feel her. I push out more searching for even the smallest trace only to find she's gone. Even when she was in the human world I could still feel her using the blood mark I left on her but I couldn't feel anything now.

Panic I've never known before grips me as I quickly call Ren. "I can't feel her... it's like she's gone." I start pacing and Ren's face scrunches up in confusion. "Has anyone breached the border?" I ask and Ren says "No sir, I will have everyone fan out and search for her... The only way for her to disappear like this is if she..." I snarl and say "Don't even say it! Do the search!" Ren bows before shifting away.

She wasn't dead.. couldn't be. I would have felt something if she had been in danger so if she wasn't dead and she wasn't hurt then what has happened? Where could she possibly go?" I run my hands through my hair as I try and calm myself down to think. Why is she always getting into trouble? I grind my teeth as I think of ways to tie her pretty little ass to my bed. That way she won't keep causing trouble.

I shift to her room and find that all her things are still here eliminating the thought of her running away. What the hell? I shift out to the garden and find that all of the fairies are missing as well. Ren shifts in and bows before saying "No signs of entry and as of right now we haven't found her. We will continue searching." I nod and he shifts away. I find one of the gnomes and he tells me that Syn and Fig left with the fairies earlier but he didn't know where they went.

I sigh in aggravation but calm down a little knowing that it must have something to do with the fairies. They weren't necessarily strong but their magic was strange. If they went off and made a weird fairy circle worshipping mushrooms or something then it would explain why I couldn't feel her. Now that the fear and worry started to fade my anger started to spike. I really am gonna tie her ass up.
