Young master Hei stood uprightly and facing ahead, meanwhile, the figure in red cloaked with a white woolen cape was looking at him with amusement.

But just then, after the tall figure dressed in thick black clothes had taken a few deep breaths, without warning, young master Hei finally turned to look at the small figure beside him.

In young master Hei's keen dark eyes, he had met eyes with one of the brightest pairs of eyes.

In Hui Lan's eyes, she was met with two sharp yet bottomless eyes that were as deep as the pacific ocean.

Though the two hadn't prepared themselves to meet eyes, neither did they take their eyes away from each other.

They just stayed like that, as if stopped in time. 

The amusement in Hui Lan's eyes had disappeared while young master Hei was, for the first time, staring blanking into that harmless pair of eyes.
