"I thought we were on a date," Sara commented as she looked at Rion who was feeling at home and was busy preparing tea for her.
The house itself was huge and looked sophisticated with a touch of gold, gray, and ebony colors. She never knew these colors would blend well together, creating a homey and welcoming atmosphere. There was even have a zen garden on the other side of their home.
"You don't think this is a date?" Rion asked, arching a brow at her.
Sara shook her head. She suspected that Rion just wanted to have some quality time with her out of their professional time.
"It's a date. Anything that we do together—as long as we enjoy it, it's a date," she replied with a grin.
Rion had spent time and effort to bring her here into their ancestral home to know more and learn about him. For that, she was deeply pleased and grateful to him.
He didn't reply but instead reached for the white enamel teapot and sat beside her.
