Chương 99: Walk in the garden

Jasmine's eyes lit up like a light bulb, seeing Felix come. The day just kept getting better for Jasmine.. 

"You're here, Superintendent He!" greeted Jasmine enthusiastically. 

Felix's heart bloomed with happiness at seeing Jasmine happiness of seeing him there. A smile threatened to form on his lips, but Felix cleared his throat to prevent the corner of his lips from tilting up. 

"You look happy today," commented Felix. 

"I am! I got to eat my mom's home-cooked meals after so long and I got to talk with my dad through a video call," said Jasmine chirpily. 

"I see," replied Felix. "How about your health? How are both of you feeling?" asked Felix. He looked alternately from Jasmine and Olivia. 

Jasmine looked at Olivia and back to Felix, "It's better than yesterday for sure, but we felt stuffy just cooped in the room all day. Can we walk around the hospital to get some fresh air? I think that would really help our lungs," said Jasmine.
