Perseus POV
You know what, I hate Greek gods, and I hate the Greeks for worshipping them back in the day.
Luckily I removed some of my limiter beforehand.
A large amount of mana in the surrounding area gathered in my right hand and formed into a beautiful silver shield which I use to swing at the lightning bolt. I am not fast enough to dodge it, this lightning bolt is too fast.
<Svalinn> I casted
A spell I named and modeled after a shield from the Norse mythology. Even though the shield itself is small, it immediately emitted this see through barrier of sorts that expanded to cover my whole front.
The lightning bolt hit and exploded on impact.
3rd person POV
The explosion was so huge that it cause debris to fly in every direction, Diana warped her 2 allies in time behind the shield as everyone else tried their best to take cover, there are smoke coming from Perseus' area.
After it cleared, people can see the cracked see through barrier of the shield and the crater in front of Perseus. The bear man's arm is no longer there and is now gushing out blood from the parts where it wasn't seared from holding the lightning bolt.
His fellow clan members got hit by some of the debris and shrapnels but the injuries aren't that life threatening, but as for the bear, he died a few moments mostly from blood lost and the fact that despite it being a replica, he held an item more powerful than one should be able to handle.
Just holding it should have made his body conduct electricity and fried himself from inside out.
I will kill Zeus one day for this, I swear, the blast hit the shield and sort of cracked my forearm that is behind it as well, that lightning bolt replica can't even be held by a regular mortal. What was he thinking?
We're so gonna get blamed by the media for that guy's death, saying we killed him in the tutorial floors in an arena set by the tower and blah blah blah...
Damn, some of the raiders in this tower is going to end up as our enemy considering that the brilliant fire guys or whatever are some of their more important clients or sponsors as well.
My clan doesn't really need sponsors since we're independently financially stable and no one can really afford a share, Zach raise this clan from scratch, he doesn't really need to need to work hard to climb the tower when he can just recruit strong and loyal raiders with money.
But the mandatory requirement for testing your intentions scare people away a bit.
But all our reputation would go down for a bit now...they're going to try to frame us as merciless people saying that we could have stopped them from using this kind of item and killing themselves instead of blocking it and saving ourselves.
As much I spread positivity now about our win and how I got a date, but it's time for my meeting with the Mirage Legion. I need to leave this up to my sister for now and check with everyone nearby to see the injured

I headed to Ezio's base in the world of the beast folk, but I made sure to wear a bandana to hide my hair, this black turtle neck skin tight suit underneath my jacket and pull it up to cover the bottom half of my face.
It feels fun to walk everywhere and have no one recognize you in public again.
No one recognize me once I visited the world of the beast folk with super cute cat girls...though I see no dental care products for lizardmen, they're beasts too, like c'mon, they always have the stinkiest mouths.
Why does your base have to be at ridiculous places?
Ezio's base is located at this super tall rocky mountain, the worst part is that you can't fly up there as a part of the assassin squad, you have to climb physically to prove that your skills have not deteriorated and can still do your job.
His base is surrounded by strong hurricane like winds, so it's super hard to climb the tower, so most assassins would have to come early since it can take days. But couple of minutes for me.
I got my grip on some piece of rocks and started jumping and climbing the stupid mountain. The wind is horrible, more more peaceful than usual, so I can just treat it as a breeze of luck, I guess.
*****
Once I got up there, I saw Ezio waiting there with a large watch on his muscular arm.
"Quick as always, also no reports on a sighting of you whatsoever." he commented "As expected of the head of the assassin division."
"Don't talk like you're my boss, dude, we're the same rank, I just get less information than you."
"Well we're more cautious since you're also send to work with law enforcements, we know you're loyal to us, but to make your job more convincing...you have to tell them some of our secrets, and we're scared you might accidently talk more than necessary." he said as he came and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Whatever dude." I swatted his hand away "Let's go meet the others and end it quick, I want to go home and sleep. You should too."
"The struggles of being strong." he chuckled as he walked behind me "Your new girlfriend isn't really that interesting, why get her as a partner? I mean talented sure, but unlike humans who can evolve quick due to their short lifespans and their will to achieve something before their deaths, nature spirits like her...you should wait till at least she's 24-40 or something.
"Nature spirits are arguably the strongest race since they are the closest to the gods after all." he explained "Though they need a bit of time till they can exhibit more than the sliver they can show now which is already good enough to rival many races."
"Dude, she's my problem, you do your own shit and worry about them instead of focusing on me."
"Just suggestions for you, my young raider."
