Chương 111: Chapter 111: Ask Ezio
Perseus POV
You know, being basically abandoned as a child leave some trauma and scars on you, and no matter what you do, you have that tiny feeling in your heart that wants to seek out your parents once and see why they did what they did.
I hate my parents, but everyone knows hate can't last forever, it will probably turn into indifference and sooner or later, I will eventually somewhat forgive them. When I have a child, I made a promise to myself to be there for them and to never abandon them like my parents did to me and my sister.
I do dream of being a parent, but when I imagined having a child despite it being premarital or not...I didn't imagine it like this...my head hurts.
I don't know whether to scream at her for tricking me like that or just be happy that my wish of being a parent is done, just much much earlier than expected.
3rd person POV
<I think I broke him.> Valentina thought
Because Perseus is sitting in a slumped manner, his eyes are somewhat dark and his face expression is stuck like that for quite a while, it would be quite funny if it were any other cases, but the severity of the situation stopped her.
Perseus POV
"I seriously can't believe you did that, I would like love to scold you and yell at you tight now, but I don't think I can."
"As I said before," she then placed her hand on mine "You don't have to take any responsibility, in a few years, whether you come visit or not, you do not have to acknowledge our child or children if they twins or more."
"No, I'll take responsibility for this...I'm just...overwhelmed. I knew I should have brought more than 3."
"To be fair, I took it from the back like almost a good chunk of the night. No one would've have thought about possible pregnancy." she pointed out "I also never offered my previous exes to do what we did."
"Not helping." I chided her "Academy plus the tower and everything else, shit, my kid is going to be born while I'm at one of the busiest time of my life. I'm calling those guys back in, i need to distract my mind, we'll discuss this in depth later."

"You look pale, do you need me to help?" Catherina asked
"No, just tell me why you 2 are here and leave afterwards, I just need a very good night sleep."
Currently the pregnancy situation is going to be kept a secret, unless I trust them fully, even nature spirits loyal to Valentina like the duo in my room are not allowed to know for safety reasons. We can have her take a pill to make the process to start now like normal again, but I need time to focus on the academy, and until I can resolve the Zeus and jade key situation, I cannot allow the child to be born just yet.
My time is getting shorter and shorter at this rate.
"First of all, we came because we would like to thank you since I heard that you are the one who stopped the attacker of the recent incident." Catherina said "But from my research of who the attacker is, the power she had is not something a regular somewhat famous raider can do and we are here to ask you about it since you are at the scene."
"Oh I know the cause but can't tell you."
"I see, what do you want in exchange?"
"I just can't till I get certain people's permission, Ezio was also on the scene, you should have gotten reports for border guards that he got there, you can ask him."
"I don't want to, he's a part of you know what." she shook her head.
"Look, I can tell you're stubborn, if you don't tell us, I'll seduce your sister." Arlon threatened
"Hah, you can try, but trust me, she'll kill you before I can."
"Besides if it comes to seducing a sister, Perseus did went on a date with your sister once." Diana laughed "I still have the picture."
"You what?!" he screamed before he realized that Valentina is still in the room.
"She commissioned a young male bodyguard to accompany her to an amusement park and so we sent Perseus, I still get texts from her asking for his phone number." Diana then showed him a picture of me who clearly didn't enjoy the 'date', I have my mask on, but I doubt no one knows who I am now.
But I got a lot of money from that little request. She didn't want her brother since he's too famous, but she is also like wealthy and decided to go for high end clans, which ours came up. Just in case someone recognize who she is, she needed protection.
"About the incident, Perseus as a very good reason to not tell you." Valentina joined in "Though I'm more than sure that you will find it out, it's only a matter of time, but when you do, Perseus will need your help."
"This may sound rude, your majesty, but I will not rush to his aid unless absolutely necessary." Arlon replied with a serious expression for once "He's more than capable of taking care of his own self and unless we know what danger we're rushing to, he's on his own."
"Same goes to you." I responded "Though you dying might actually benefit society."
"So if this threat is something we will know eventually, how would you classify the strength of this threat?" Catherina asked
"Something that will attract the attention of my teacher and force him to finally show himself to the public." I answered "And trust me, you can both combine your powers and fight him at the same time, and I can guarantee that he will win."
"So shouldn't you just tell us?" Arlon responded "We can be cautious, but the more prepared the better."
"Nope, you're going to need to find all this out on your own. I can tell you something about the recent incident though, your deductions are right, she attained the power similar to a borderline ranker, keep an eye out for the missing nobles, they probably know more about this than I do. Ezio too, so ask him."
