Chương 3: The Basics
"Umm...okay, so what exactly am I supposed to be doing again?"
Before my eyes laid empty space, nothing was there and yet somehow I am supposed to make something out of it, this game really is hard to understand.
"Listen, I already told you your task, I am not allowed to tell you more then that!"
'What kind of bullshit was that, if this is supposed to be the tutorial why can't you help me?' Anyways their was a box on the top right of my screen that gave a bit more information.

Task 1
• As a new deity you are tasked with creating your own domain, to start off make a suitable core to stabilize your domain and power your domain.
. . .
'But what can be used as a core for a domain?' This game was very complicated and because this being before the start of the game and such there was no info online yet.
"Hey umm...Irean, is there someway that you could give me a little hint on what can me used as a core?"
The tutorial aka the angle Irean visibly sighed before massaging her temples.
"Look newbie, I am not allowed to disobey my orders but...I can give you a little hint!"
'Wow this game feels so real, just the actions she took made her look like a real person!' She walked off to the side and raised her hands into the air. Sparks of light came into being around her and some images made out of light appeared in the empty space.
"This is the core you saw from that...trailer...and the way you described it mean that it was the a [World Tree], there a very rare and powerful type of tree that can only be grown from the seed of an already grown [World Tree]."
The light show shifted to show the image of the [World Tree] that was shown in the trailer. 'I wonder, will I be able to do magic like her?' The image shifted again to show planets around the [Core].
"Your [Domain] is greatly impacted by the type of [Core] you make, if it's a [Core] that is...let's say more attuned with life magic then your world would have a wider verity of life from your races to your environments."
'That was very useful information, but that still doesn't answer the question of what can be used as a [Core]?'
"To answer you question in the best way I am allowed to answer...your [Core] is whatever you want it to be, even if it doesn't have the strength to stabilize a [Domain] like this one it could always evolve into one that can."
'Now that answers my question, so it was like that but what type of [Core] do I want to choose. I need something that will creat a [Domain] that can stand against other deity's, don't want to lose all my hard work because i didn't have the strength.'
"With that done I shall be taking my leave, I'll return after you have successfully created your core that you are fine with."
I wanted to protest but she disappeared in a flash of light and I was left all alone in the empty space. 'Just great, now I am supposed to create a core that will suit not only my vision but also have the strength to actually power my [Domain]. This is gonna take some time.'
With that thought in mind I pulled up the system and logged out, I found my self staring at another counter and after it reached zero I once again stood in the game room. The baby dragon was still in its bed and the clock showed that only an half an hour passed.
"The manual did say that an hour real time would be two hours in game, sweet!"
"Would you mind and not speak so loud, I want to get some sleep!"
"Do you even need to sleep anyways, aren't you some sort of AI or something, why would you need sleep?"
"First off that's rude, I don't go around assuming people's race and second, I am much more then what you can understand."
'That totally doesn't feel ominous at all!' I started moving to the wall and a couch started to form from the floor.
"Look I don't have time to bicker with you, I need to think of a core for my domain."
"Oh still don't know what to do, I though with that big brain of yours you would already know what to do, especially with all those novels you read during your childhood."
"Hey what's that supposed to mean, I'm only 22, i'm not that old yet."
"Sorry about that, I just thought you know...that you were on the older side."
"Oh yeah, and how about you, you don't even have a name yet!"
'I seemed to have hit a nerve as he..she? Let's just go with it for now shut it's mouth and just looked down at the floor.'
'Something is definitely going on there but I don't have the time to think about a dragon's problems, I need to figure out what I want to make for my core. I want something that's well rounded, something that holds every type of basic element. So it has to have fire, water, earth, air...and probably something like light and darkness.'
"...hey..."
'But what's something that can work, the types of novels I read didn't have something like that, what if I make some sort of crystal or crystals that act as my core, one for each element?'
"...hey!"
'Or some sort of monster that can act as a guardian to my domain, maybe a dragon if that's possible?'
"Hey!"
"Huh?"
Pulled out of my thoughts I saw the baby dragon staring at my with a look of anger and annoyance.
"Stop thinking so loudly, it's hurting my head and I won't be able to sleep with all that racket!"
"Well if you want it to stop why not think of something!"
It seemed to be thinking of something and just sat down in its bed, 'oh well back to thinking and this could be a form of punishment for its tone so far.'
"Why not make something like a nexus!"
"A what?"
"A nexus, it's usually when two or more types of magic meet to form a pool or magic, and if you make a nexus that not only will you be able to use those elements but add on elements do your domain, pretty cool huh?"
"Okay I guess that can work, but you need a name, first off are you a dude or a female?"
. . .
Opening my eyes I could see the white ceiling of the game room. 'What happened?' Right after I asked the dragons gender it straight of started attacking me.
"Good, your up, by the way the names Ruby if that helps you in figuring out my gender."
'Yep, definitely a female.' Pain in my left eye made me realize I would have a bruise for a bit, how does that even work?
"Thanks...for the idea about my core."
'Of course already sleeping.' She was once again sleeping on her bed with Z's above her name.
'Now let's get back to forming my core, I wonder if it will be as easy as Ruby made it seem, most likely not.' With a flash of light I once again appeared in the empty space of my domain.
