Chapter one completely drew me in! Kai's past is heartbreaking–losing his parents and now facing the same monster who ravaged his village. The narration is engaging,and that cliffhanger ending has me desperate for more

I'm hooked! The writing is so vivid,I feel like I'm right there with Lio–I can totally picture everything. Definitely recommending this one!
