In wolf form they have the usual appearance of a timber wolf but much much larger even more larger than normal werewolves. In wolf form they are taller than the average human male.

I’m just using the situation to rationalize it. 1.) The heir to the kingdom just died forcing Anya to become something she’s not sure she wants 2.) an outsider has come so far inland (that they know of minus the women from the freehold) which makes them more nervous 3.) they’re about to entire war with the rival kingdom. All this in my opinion helps describe their quick trigger reactions. Couple that with centuries of prejudice and you have the situation before you.
Let’s gooooo. Been waiting on this for so long along with the day he finds gandalf fallen to the white wizard. And I’m ready for people who treat him like garbage to hear he’s the slayer of Smaug. Cant wait to see the amount of flipping attitudes.
