Heroes are supposed to shine like gold in the memories of those that they have sworn to protect, a beacon of hope on the world's darkest night. They're stars, shinning beautiful, bright, and dying in a glorious explosion of light as they give their lives for their city. Sometimes the heroes don't stay dead though. Sometimes they come back, and they come back wrong. What happens then, when a hero, that is just as much dead as they are alive, finds their way back into the world of the living?

Months later, thirteen year old Percy finds himself making a deal with Zeus to let him fly just once to another country, Japan. When found by a Port Mafia doctor, Mori, Percy renames himself Dazai Osmau. But the past refuses to stay forgotten for long as he nears the age of the prophecy, and all of the chaos that ensues after when worlds collide once more.

There are many moments in our lives that add up to define who we become, and some things that we simply are with or without any choice in the matter. Getting to Platform 9 3/4 by himself and finding a toad roaming the train, one small moment among thousands, really should not matter all that much in the grand scheme of things… Except it does. —- Or, Harry never meets Ron on the the train to Hogwarts and goes to Slytherin instead. This changes everything that it can. (Total canon rewrite with a Slytherin Harry Potter that has the Boy Who Lived dropping the rose colored glasses from the start, and collecting friends from all houses as he strives to surivie and flourish within the magic world as he possesses a broken sort of magic that changes things more than before. (Because Harry being a Horcrux really should have done more than give him the abilty to speak Parsteltongue and look into Voldermort’s mind since the other Horcruxes like the locket, dairy, and ring did))

After Sirius’s prank in their fifth year, Remus doesn’t so easily forgive the eldest Black brother and pulls away. In a bout of self destructiveness, he goes right to a younger Slytherin, finding an unlikely friendship along the way. They say that in Slytherin House you’ll find your true friends, but a Ravenclaw and a Gryffindor couldn’t hurt too, right? —- Or How different could things have been had Remus gone to the younger Black brother and made him and others have a change of heart much sooner than before?
