Well yeah, considering that Elma killed people simply for 'fun' not caring about the changes made by the results of her actions so while he doesn't particularly care about the lifes lost, the goal was to reach the perfect ending and killing a bunch of people simply for fun has more chance of leading to a bad ending so I expected him to betray her sooner(just didn't expect it to be this fast though)
