If he is so troubled by this, he could just start making non-human workers like he was initially interested in near the beginning (like when he was obsessed with acquiring mermaids for his water attractions). I looked back, and in chapter 174, Mary tells him he can do this. He just needs to provide a species' DNA sample to the system, and then he can make workers of that species. He should be spoiled for choice at this point.
Since even the Innkeeper kept the guise of a human, and so did all of its workers, the Inn clearly looked like it was a budding humanoid force. Getting caught in some ancient feud he did not understand did not sound like fun.

Since Yinuo was super vague about her master, I was just thinking that it'd be funny if Quinlan just ended up joining the wrong master/sect.
The Good Teacher just went from standard fantasy to grim dark.
The devils were… pushed into the tear by the momentum of the blast. Their arrival, marked by an aura of impending danger and devastation, almost seemed comical in front of the abrupt nature of their departure.

I don't know why, but these new pets the shapers have designed seem to have such a positive outlook on life. There's a gleam of simple joy in their eyes as they wibble and wobble about the place, soaking up vile goop and emitting their mist.

I wonder if there are any zealot/templar demons? If following their obsessions causes demons to gain unique forms, what happens if a demon becomes obsessed with the almighty Anthony? I mean, this method worked for Beyn.
However, Emilia didn't take us to see the various sights in the city, but instead led us directly to the centre of the city where we found the temple Emilia had referred to.

Don't know what rules the author has for themselves about whether or not the children get seeded, but I saw something that might have meaning. There first child was surrounded by a powerful qi barrier the entire pregnancy and wound up seedless. The second, conversely, was treated traditionally and got seeded/crippeled. When I started thinking about it, it started feeling like it might not've been a coincidence. Though, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Let's see... umm... of course, there are my long requested kiwi bird people. A centaur might be interesting, especially from a gear/home design angle, making sure they are just as comfortable as the two-legged folks. If they make it to the ocean, I've been toying with the idea of mantis shrimp kin. The shrimp are super colorful, can see all kinds of light waves we can't, and can punch at around or perhaps a bit higher than the speed and force of a .22 caliber bullet(note: they are only about 2-7 inches long on average, a bit over a foot at most). Those facts are too neat to not be beastkinified, in my opinion. I've also been thinking about mermaids, but based on seals not fish ( I don't know if these have an official name). Like the seals you see in the cute internet videos where they are so perfectly round, squishy, and adorable with those extendo necks and stuff. We've had tons of lithe, curvy, and built ladies in this story(ain't nothin' wrong wit dat), so especially with how seals typically have blubber, I imagine these being more on the chubby side of things. Might bring in some visual/flavor variety way down the line than if every race in every place has the exact same body types.
Somewhat. They haven't really done anything due to their extreme environmental adaptations keeping them away from basically everything else for most of the story so far.
