Addis ignored it as he dove into the pool, swimming for the human who was now quickly sinking. From the lack of struggling, Addis knew that Faye was already unconscious, and he quickly tore the rope of the tether around the human's waist. He grabbed the human quickly as he swam back to the surface, his heart pounding as a cold feeling entered his veins. If he did not save Faye fast enough, if he did not make sure the human survived, the pains he suffered before would seem like a light breeze compared to the pain that awaited him.
