Given that he'll be pretty strong, it would complicate the plot significantly if he also had Witch Scent along with Subaru - Rem could have even been afraid of him, since she'd feel she might not be able to kill him. So, I think, Ram would teach Subaru the language, while Rem would teach the MC, since she would want to stay away from Subaru (at the same time they'd begin growing closer early on).

Author's note: This fanfiction is dropped. I stopped writing this story because the path it was taking really put me off and I just had no idea how to make it good as it was. Even though I had a bunch of chapters written ahead, it just isn't as good as I wanted and it was too hard/too late to correct the flaws now. Certain comments also didn't help, so I would rather just leave it be. If I were to continue something similar, I would probably just use this as reference, changing the background and timeline.

Even without gentials he would still be a man and he would only hate Chi Yan if he keeps the Yang Gu away from him. Instead, I think it would be interesting if Bai Ning Bing was allowed to develop properly and was the Blazing Glory's partner in crime as they roam the world together.

I tried making Bai Ning Bing a female, but it doesn't work in this story; the introduction and the interactions were very weird. Here Bai Ning Bing is the same as in the original. ||| If the MC/OC was born in the same generation as BNB and grew up on Qing Mao Mountain, then it would be more fitting.
