Eru from this fic has the habits of L, eating sweets, sitting weird, etc. But I feel Eru doesn’t really have the actual personality of L. Which isn’t bad either, I really like this portrayal of L regardless.
Lastly, I have a question. I'm curious how you guys would describe L (other than smart or genius, etc.). What traits does he have that pop out to you or that you like, and which ones do you not like? Is there anything you like about Eru in this story so far or dislike? I want to know to further improve on the story and my writing.

I think L is slightly evil / an antihero. He's good to a certain extent but justice isn't his main motivation. He does questionable things and hes far from being completely evil but not a perfect good guy either. One of his quotes encompasses his character really well: "They pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart, they eat even though they've never experienced hunger, they study even though they have no interest in academics, they seek friendship even though they don't know how to love."

I feel like you could have L keep the ‘creepy’ traits since narratively he’d be exhibiting them consistently for a few months at this point. The class could view him as a different koenji, except instead of actively antagonize him they could just get used to his behavior.
