He does. It's just that there isn't a lot of betray going on in this book. I prefer to steer away from such drama. And if there are conflicts that lead to betrayals and such, they are well fleshed out and often not what they seem. To answer you, Cain isn't someone that kills for no reason. But he does, although he thinks it is a waste of valuable human resources in a world where it will be scarce in the coming years.
Thanks for not dropping. Your support goes a long way, and i will try to fix the mistakes i have made more earnestly while doing my best not to make such mistakes in the future.
The skill, {Causality Curse}, was a very strange one. Evangeline made use of the Shadow and Blood elements of herself and her opponent. A shadow is an imitation of an object created by light, while blood is the courier of life in a living being.

It's all good. I've been writing this book for a long time now, and I admit I made a lot of mistakes in the beginning which I've tried to go over and fix, but there is only so much i can do for now. Thank you for giving my book another chance. I promise not to disappoint if you'll bear with me a bit :)

Thanks for the review :). And just as the saying goes; There is no rest for the wicked )
I'll attend to that soon. Please be patient with me :)
I like your perspective on it. My perspective on it was to try to show how Cain deals with weakness and betrayal in general, not from him, but from others and how their choices can have a negative or positive impact on him despite him being the center of everything. Thanks for the comment :),
When that was completed the quest updates, and the amount of people he has to save, and the amount of Devils he has to kill also increases
Cain's smile turned a bit savage, "Still, it's always good to seperate the weed from what it useful. How many beasts are we talking, and what is their average power level?"

The first stage of the Quest was to kill 10,000 Devils and save 100 humans, not save 500 humans.

Sorry about that. It's a bit difficult for me to keep track of these numbers and all the small changes they undergo with each chapter. This is definitely an error on my end, and i wish I Had the time to edit every little thing. I often mention it that these numbers at the end of the day don't really impact the story on a very large scale, although i will try my best to rectify the errors and keep them at a minimum in the future. Thank you for reading. Really appreciate the support.
