The author is implying the previous body before this one makes his mind equivalent to a normal person's baseline and the current bonus is actually bringing him above the norm. However, the use of multiplication to show this is flawed as the author had used percentages prior and 1 multiplied by anything does in fact equal the same value.

One, the ccp being strict has nothing to do with how repetitive the stories are. Yes, the ccp heavily regulates what can be said but they don't say "copy entire paragraphs". Also, Chinese stories in general aren't usually copying each other as blatantly as these ai stories have been. usually stories just imitate tropes or gimmicks based on what's popular and that's not exclusively a Chinese trend. Two, copying entire paragraphs/conversations does not equate to tropes. Copying/imitating themes or settings is what makes a trope. Three, there may be some niche cases, but authors aren't paid by the word. However, translators are, which is why even if a novel used to have long chapters you'll see translations that break them down into roughly 1000 words per chapter. Four, this is me just being petty tbh, when you number your points you should use a consistent numbering method as I have. switching from "one" to "2nd" to "third" is a bad way to go about it unless you're making some kind of joke. No, it's an ai story cuz it seems to use the same parts as dozens of other stories but just slightly shuffled around, often using entire conversations that are the exact same. Although, you could argue that it's just an influx of extremely uncreative authors.
