He couldn't help but wonder why everyone always assumed Hades was to blame for everything. Just because he was the God of the Underworld? Honestly, Hades was the god who did the least amount of bad things in mythology. The only thing he did was kidnap Persephone. Sure, he might hate the demigods of Poseidon and Zeus, but that was because they broke a promise the three of them had made. He must have felt really upset about that. The irony was that he was the only one who kept his word.

actually i'm a bit disappointed with his first meeting with aphrodite. I know this is the way she was portrayed in the books and i can understand your decision. But in the early chapters when he ascended the first time and allmost lost himself in the world of conceptualization, where everything was meaningless and reduced to nothingness, the thing that pulled him back and kept him going was love. He discovered that love was something much higher that fell for some reason. Imo that was a beautiful passage and i was looking forward to his meeting with aphrodite because as the goddess embodying the concept of love there's no way she wouldn't understand love on an even more deep level. Well as I said i can understand that you didn't do it and i won't stop reading this story, i just wanted to tell you my thoughts author.

Especially in his dream quest to unknown kaddath. I will summarize Randolf Carters story very briefly in the first chapter but i still recommend reading lovecrafts stories about him. Especially the dream quest to unknown kaddath, as it is imo one of the most unique and interesting stories in the lovecraft mythos. (Also some stuff will be different from the original. having a character who is so beautiful he charms everyone that sees him fall hopelessly in love with the one person/god unattainable for him is kind of poetic i like it. I do still hope they get together happily eventually though lol. Also i think it's a good choice to have him be this helpless in front of his love for artemis. Somehow balances his character a bit with him being completely overpowered physically.
