While I’m not saying that he should be able to make a crater like it’s nothing, you still can’t really say that starkiller taking vaders lightsaber is nothing. Vader was one of the most powerful force users and at that stage had already wipped out a lot of Jedi. If just anyone can steal another’s lightsaber it would have been done a lot more. I might be wrong but I do believe that he overpowered vaders control for a split second. Like how many force users after training can just casually rip a star destroyer out of the sky. While I agree making a crater is a bit unrealistic it’s still a good way to show his future potential.
Jaden's eyes opened and he was knocked out of his meditative trance, his connection had managed to blow away everything in his radius even blowing up the small shack he'd fallen into, he was now in the middle of a crater with no cover. He looked around himself and cursed, but the good news was he could feel the force, whatever was blocking his connection was gone.

Honest one of the best HP books I’v read in a while. I really like the concept and how it all worked out however the sometimes extremely long interactions between characters bored me a bit and made me skip paragraphs every now and then. Apart from that it was a great book. 👍
