WHY?!?!?! IT. IS. A. BANK!! Why would goblins have anything to do with wizarding blood (bare in mind goblins are known to rebel and blood is SACRED to wizards) maybe for a change in vault ownership or a change in will but for a blood ritual? also it is said in an earlier chapter that Harry looked through the black library wouldn`t their have been SOMETHING on blood adoption in there and if it is a change in universe thing shouldn`t Harry at least think "huh didn`t hear about anything like that being a thing back home.." also if blood adoption is a thing how do pureblood houses go extinct if you can just grab anyone off the street and go "hey do you want to be elevated to the highest standing in our community?" like this has so many implications not just for the current story but the behind the scenes politics and the past!
Harry was jolted out of his thoughts as Sirius clapped his hands together. "So! We'll live in Grimmauld Place then. And as soon as the healers declare me physically fit, we can have the blood adoption ritual done at Gringotts. I'll send an owl to the goblins to arrange it."
