A howl, a sound of many meanings and implications. A sound that echos through my memories. A triumphant roar, a despairing wail, a wrathful bellow. A beast comprised of intertwining flames. A weapon forged from the greed of man. An anger filled with sorrow. A mind trapped where it shouldn't be. A howl. The sound that gnaws at my memories. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, so I read a fanfiction a while ago that had an interesting concept, it is where the main character is a tailed beast. The one I read was unfinished so I looked around for similar things and I've seen several fanfictions with this concept yet none of them felt satisfying to me when I read them, they either felt outlandish with absurd scenarios (I like fiction with a realistic twist) or the MC possessed outrageous powers that felt a little nonsensical to me, not to mention that many of them were unfinished, which will probably happen to this fanfic as well. Anyway, I decided I would try my hand at writing one of these and see how it turns out. This writing is mostly for my personal enjoyment, but if you enjoy reading it that's great, if you catch up to the last published chapter and have any suggestions for what I should write, please share them with me. P.S. I think I should mention this, the goal/theme I wish to achieve in this story is to describe the mental and emotional journey of both the tailed beast and its jinchuriki, combat and such will be a secondary focus. I made this novel a transmigration novel in order to have a reasonable explanation for some of the more human mental traits and thought process that I will be applying to the tailed beast. Last aspect I wish to say, I am a new writer, I will try my best to input emotional and character development into this story, with the most prominent one being overcoming the mental anguishes associated with forced imprisonment, and long term isolation.

When being summoned to the Hokage's office Jonin Kasa Samidare thought he was going to be assigned to an emergency assignment. What he wasn't expecting was being told to become team 8's temporary Jonin instructor while their sensei recovered from an injury. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, this novel/short story idea is something I have been thinking about for a while. The concept is your character being summoned to take on a mission in the hokage's office. the premise is for their to be a short story that depicts the mission being taken and their thought process and experience throughout it. I would like to note that I'm a new writer and am choosing to use this as practice to gain more experience, there is no guarantee that I will finish a story so don't become to attached to them.
