just search periodic table and you will see that gold, silver and copper are all of the same family, wich means they are very similar, silver is the best conductor followed by copper and gold, but gold is a nobler metal, so it's less reactive than silver, thus its conductivity doesn't get messed up that frequently, thus even though it's top 3, it would be somewhat worth it(since pure gold is extremely soft and can be scraped by a naked hand, so it'd need to be an alloy and/or use armament haki), since he needs it to be in a good state for a long time
