I open my eyes with difficulty. What has happened? An old friend walks over, before I can see her clearly, a strangled cry gets stuck in my throat. I shake my head in strange convulsions as I desperately tug at my hair. I can't even think, it's overwhelming. I feel the touch of her on my skin, the world falls into an overwhelming silence, I look up again. I recognize this place, I've been here before, with Gabriel and… I don't remember the other boy's name. They approach cautiously, their lights cradle me. I lie down in the grass, tall and damp, letting her glow dazzle me as my body moves strangely again. It is painful, but not unbearable. I sink back into that strange dream.

Fear. Fear is what dominates people, which makes them make wrong decisions. That makes them back down. But I am not afraid. Fear is not part of me. I am not human. It doesn't control me. It doesn't dominate me. I am a monster... ... And monsters create fear.

- What is that? -Sasuke looked at his brother like the idiot that he was. He did not deign to answer, although his eyes did find a sky open to endless mysteries. He parted his lips, moving so fast that the trees were just shadows. He was walking away. The ice-eyed maiden.
