orochimaru is 100% one of the best swordsmen in naruto, the sword isn't for show. His swordmanship was displayed even in flashbacks of the three sanin period, the sword isn't just smth he picked up recently bc he found a kusanagi sword or smth. i think the best swordman in naruto is sasuke, and guess who his teacher is..
But Aoba discovered that Orochimaru's swordsmanship was actually quite impressive, certainly top-notch.
