Yes I like torture, 😈 just kidding. Back when this part was made, we were keeping Lubbock´s fate in line with happened in the manga since volume 1 here is *mostly* faithful to that continuity aside from new concepts like the Blood Wolves and such.
"You son of a bitch! You're gonna fucking regret that. I swear you will!" he grinned. He then took the tool and leaned toward the male aiming it straight for Lubbock's genitals. Finding his target, Syura clamped the youth's testicle with it then squeezed slowly to add pressure causing Lubbock to groan loudly. And then…Syura forcefully clamped it down crushing one side of the area. Words could not begin to describe the screaming that ensued.

Team AKARA, you mean? Think about it. At this point in the story, the group has been through world-changing events together (The initial battle against Vesta back at the end of volume 1 and the greater battle against the Scarlet Cerberus being key examples) and in said events team AKARA never did anything other than support Raizo through problems he would've failed to resolve on his own. Meanwhile, Raizo has seen what becomes of the Sapphire Phoenix/Blood Wolves and the rest of the Conclave in the Shatterpoint world in a scenario where they successfully win the war. They'd be just as if not more tyrannical than the current Empire. So any trust that he may have harbored in them before has significantly deteriorated.
"Yes it is. Don't get me wrong, I was relieved when I found out that you were alive and for the time we spent together but this is your home, not mine. I can hardly sleep comfortably at night and it feels awkward walking around the encampment day by day. Your soldiers only stare at me with confusion or perhaps animosity. Hell, even being around Orion, Genesis, and Zephyria is weird for me. I don't know them and they don't know me. How can I bond with someone in this tense time period especially when it is with people who have known me for what sometimes feels like five minutes? How can I tell anyone about how I feel when it feels like I'm about to be going off to a war every single minute? It's suffocating," the former blood wolf ranted.
