In the heart of this dying day, there was a peaceful hum of twilight creatures beginning their nocturnal serenade, the rhythmic pattern of cicadas and the occasional hoot of an owl punctuating the silent dusk. The faintest glimmer of stars began to peek through the velvet canvas above, as if they were shy children cautiously emerging to play.
