It's a sprinting exercise. Where you have to run at full speed and turn around quickly, the distance getting further and further apart, it's good for cardio and agility.
To my surprise, most of the training was nonmagical; I was running more and doing more push-ups and suicides. Weight training, agility training. Each morning for hours, then I would drink a potion that Mike had prepared that would ease and heal my muscles, but it didn't take care of the fatigue. Then it was onto spell training in my tired state: jinxes hex, stunners and disarming charms, shielding and transfiguring tricks; all this had effects on my magic and muscles.

I answered this question before. the Basilisk had to die or be removed from the equation. can you imagine the battle of hogwarts with the Basilisk still around.
I probably shouldn't have punched him, but I was so frustrated with not being able to do anything about the basilisk. I took it out on Draco. I'm still surprised at how annoying he is.

well there is the theroy that the Basilisk couldn't kill anybody actually and riddle killed myrtle with the killing curse after she was petrified, because he was worried she saw him. which kind of makes sense, but its only a theroy and there's no proof in that.
I shrugged. 'It shows the incompetence of the wizards back then to believe that the chamber of secrets was opened by the half-giant Hagrid.' I thought, 'Maybe they didn't believe that chamber was open and just was a cover, but Aragog was an acromantula; how the hell does an acromantual petrify people?'

An idea I had as well, but two factors. The sword of Gryffindor being imbued with the basilisk's powers makes it powerful enough to kill Horcrux, and if the basilisk doesn't die, then it's there at the Battle of Hogwarts.
We don't know much about the attacks that happened in Riddles's time at Hogwarts, apart from Myrtle dying and him framing Hagrid. But they say Attacks plural when Tom is talking to headmaster Dippet, so it is safe to assume that there were petrifications in Riddle's year.

croakcoa is what chocolate frogs are 70% made from. fun fact.
Wizard chocolates were really good, and they had no sugar in them. I had no idea what croakoa was, but it was delicious.

read the authors note at end of chapter
"Hey, kid, can you play?" A man asked me. I looked at him and nodded. "Here's a Galleon; play us something." I looked at it, then him; he was in his mid-twenties, and it looked like he was on a date. I unclasped my guitar case and pulled out my guitar. I guess I was a busker now. A song came to my mind when I thought that. I pulled out my wand and cast <lumos saltare>. A little orb of light leapt from my wand and hovered around me; putting my wand back, the orb stayed. This was a spell Professor Flitwick taught me at the request of Professor Snape because he could see how I struggled while holding my wand and playing music. The dancing light spell Professor Flitwick had called it, mine really danced, however.

hahaha.
This started as a joke, but Lockhart didn't know that, and now I think he missed his calling.

well that's an assumption that i have everything planned out. I don't know if there will be a battle of hogwarts neither does the mc, but why would he risk it.
