So, I had a difficult time understanding what was happening in the 2nd part of this chapter. I don't get what's the structure of the ventilation and how and why he's moving/using it and also how he's clearing this sand that supposedly destroys the artifacts when his hands touch them and towards the end where he used his clothes as insulation where was that done. If someone that understood it well could clarify this for me it would be very helpful, thanks :)
Thanks for taking the time to reply. And I guess I can understand that perspective, I just wanted to know the direction the story is headed in and it's tone. Have a good weekend as well.
From reading the comments on chapters and also the reviews I have read people mention that the story actually becomes much more interesting as it goes on, can someone mention around what ch does it really start to get more into things and what sort of direction it follows ( without many spoilers if possible). From what I have read so far it does feel decent, I liked the start and his growth and the pacing and stuff, and the author does try to make his story stand apart from the usual cliches, though idk yet if that bears fruit but it's good for now. I didn't like the part with Celine and I felt that it was also brushed aside very quickly and am currently deciding whether I want to continue or not and what to look forward to moving further into the chs. Any inputs will be appreciated, thanks.
Did they remove the power stone rankings of each book based on who voted how much, all I can see now are the book rankings but not the rankings for each book.

"Hey, wake up, you dummy!" An irritated voice boomed in Damien's head like an explosion.
