it's a time loop so he has a theoretical infinite amount of time and with powerful creatures around the place he can get shards (don't remember if the coffer can bring them through time) but considering he received a memory from a future version of himself I'd say it's not too far fetched

I think it's a more literal iteration of the net mural where the gods placed a net with holes allowing weaker creatures through and as it aged and became more damaged stronger creatures were able to cross through the holes

I also just realized this and now I'm thinking each member will eventually have access to a different Damon's magic wich only leaves the question of if mordret will become a permanent cohort member layer or will we be receiving a new character

so far I can only think of two reasons things might have stayed around; one being high tier memory's like the divine mask, or "story" memory's like the crown from the first lord
But the nebulous mantle was not one of those, either. Otherwise, it would have bound itself to Sunny the moment he picked it up.

kind of. I believe it said awhile back that it still finds a suitable replacement for them but instead of becoming them they just override there place in the story the nightmare is telling
Was he just imagining things, or was it eerily similar to the tattered rags the Mad Prince wore in the nightmare? It was hard to tell due to how faded and sunburnt the rags were, but if he just pictured what they might have looked like decades, or even hundreds of years ago…

I dont think there's only six chapters left im pretty sure the author said there was gonna be 1 a day then however many were left on the 18th
this makes sense as it coukd also help solve him going insane whenever he transforms into a nightmare creature.
