Loving the story so far, I say have her ask goldy for a sort of ‘intentional genetic modification’ for the drones under her, something much slower then the usual process by hijacking another species genetic code. That way she could go full on StarCraft situation after the ‘trial’ and have genetically engineered drones and such, like the plasma bugs from starship troopers for space defense planetwise. Gives you a chance to have a much more ‘free’ idea for future plans to write and also combat future enemies, since chaos, will want them to go up against other established events and cultures to keep things ‘chaotic’ which means she will have the flexibility to develop plans around them.
He mentioned a ‘tragedy’ so I assume he is going to start to talk about ‘those horrible ant monsters who overtook his town’ and Bryan is about to go nuclear on his old faith
Some of them can teleport and stuff though, which makes it kinda a moot point
After all the teens were assigned to their designated teachers/trainers, they headed to their sleeping quarters to freshen up while their meals were being prepared. The boys and girls were separated in different rooms with the teacher's quarters in the middle. That way, they wouldn't be able to sneak around to play around. (>_0)

I think it’s going to be the entire group, protectant’s section is honestly too majorly stealth/assassin focused, I think these are going to become full on special forces unit like the spetsnaz or seals
I think it’s both, they all see him, they all want him to join them, but they don’t want a bland weakling to be the ‘choice’ so they’re going to challenge him, force him to evolve stronger mutations to force him to be a ’quality’ choice
