I believe the synopsis will inform you why it was named the guardian gods but I appreciate the review.
Ikenga getting them to birth curses kinda pushed them to a boundary between mortal and gods, they both just haven’t comprehend a divinity from their situation to ascend to godhood so hence the psuedo deities
The two pusedo-deities were making a bet on which godling would emerge victorious when, all of a sudden, the atmosphere around them shifted. A portal opened nearby, revealing a familiar yet ethereal realm beyond—a place similar to Ikenga's, but imbued with a more spiritual essence. This was the spirit world.

She know because she is connected to other consciousness who shares information with her, while different things are happening in their world she can make a deduction of what could happen in hers and also like her children she tends to get a glimpse of what is to happen in the future.
