I doubt they would suffer much, Karl is enough beast to not just go ham at them, besides they seem to be going to pay him soon. More importantly, the beast nation is the strongest power on the continent, they have multiple Totem ranks (while Giants and the Golden Dragon Nation have one each in comparison) and at least one Dragon one rank above even that. Overlord is faar from enough to even think about revenge.
