Good attempt, but it felt like Emery’s intense desire to flee felt a little off character - he has never been portrayed as someone who would do this. Granted, this would allow for a shorter chapter and being able to close with the twist so..

I feel like they should have been penalised for not sticking to the (logistics) mission given and instead confronting an enemy base - disobeying commands for personal gain is usually detrimental in a war effort..
