The story jumps right into the thick of it at the beginning. A bold choice, but a bad one. With a lot of lore dumps at the start and many unfamiliar characters and terms. As if people just now being introduced to them should care. I honestly feel like there's 50 chapters that should have come before the 1st chapter. Also not sure how this novel is rated so highly. But I have my guesses seeing as the author gave themselves 5-Stars 4 times, and most of the other reviews are from low-level accounts...

They hammered a warning sign on the door reading "No Daemons Allowed."

What interesting timing...
[Healing Prohibition: Damage continuously triggers "bleeding," preventing the target from healing, reviving, or being treated. (Ineffective on hero-level and above creatures)]

Yeah, but what if it didn't? Last time you only got 5% fire resistance genius...
But the quest soon completed, and upon gaining Intermediate Resistance Skin, Orion was surprised to find the Shadow Spinner's venom nearly ineffective!

SWING a spear to gain THROWING mastery?
[Newbie quest triggered, swing the spear 10 times to gain Basic Spear Throwing Mastery]

No prob :)
Reposting this review since the author seems to be trying to delete any negative reviews. It's rather clear that this borrows rather HEAVILY from "The Novel's Extra" as the setting, school, world background, and the MC's vision based powers are basically the exact same. It's a shame that their protagonist isn't even HALF as tolerable as their source material, somehow deciding not to take THAT aspect as well. The MC is honestly insufferable to read about. Frequently making dumb mistakes just to push events of the plot forward. And many times he doesn't learn from said mistakes. He has an inner monologue with him complaining about basically everything. Despite his position as a third-rate villain with abysmal luck, he acts weirdly entitled. Overall he is a rather annoying and unpleasant person to follow most of the time. Giving a 1 star to help balance the more nonsensical 5-star reviews I've seen. Ordinarily, I'd probably give it about 2 and a half stars.
Oh that? I was talking about the "Read Books" column. The "hours of reading" column doesn't seem reliable when I've read close to 1482 books. Which would mean I've read a different book every minute, lol.
Poor fools, they were probably allowed to escape to be cannon fodder for the new soldiers and give them confidence.
Suddenly, cries rang out as several injured gang members stumbled toward them from the end of the street.

The story is very good, but it is also disappointing. The writing quality is definitely impressive, however despite Tanya's presence, very little of actual significance deviates from the plot of the show. Events change, but the plot from the show basically doesn't. It is quite clear that the author will not let Tanya change the story in any meaningful way. It had a strong start, but the story eventually just turns into: "Avatar the Last Airbender. Oh, and Tanya's here too."
