And of course I just noticed somehow I made my word "as" into "at" 😑

True though with due to the one thing Isiad my train of thought decided the shuriken hitting it at it being injured a fair bit & mixed with the paralysis part while forgetting it is released from being paralyzed after it's disconnected as: Injured + Paralyzed + tossed aside = dead via wound & if not enough to die from then via another creature due to being paralyzed.

Not really no, it was a perfectly good thought. Not that I know any of the amount in numbers, but the plenty of times in novels or fics I've read the phrase "Tossed aside" is used a fair amount with tossing aside & described in some way as the person or creature is dead or at least about if to die via injury, same thing for if not given no details being an indicator of it being dead without any further details. Either way of it not being described sometimes the thing tossed aside is used as a carless indicator of an action done with either lack thought or care by a character, with it usually discovered later on as some sort of clue by a person. Same thing sometimes happens if it's described as being dead & sometimes is found as a clue of someone kind of lead to indicate either via later text or without further details on how an enemy likely found a character. Meanwhile I've associated the phrasing "Threw aside" in relation to stuff like a character being angry & throwing something or if they're fighting an opponent. So I have commonly come to associate with it being related to such unless it's described as otherwise like the person or creature tossed aside is given any signs of being unconscious, injured or both, with the person who did it no either via text or an indicator without text they might be captured or found for later use in a chapter even if brief. Meanwhile I've come to associate the phrasing of "released" & "let go" when no description is given or even if it is, as an indicator of that person or creature having been let go alive be it without harm, injured, or one of the other as a message to an enemy & sometimes also as a trap.

Oh ha, Ok that's better than what I had been thinking he had gotten for a split moment. I read the words "Darkness" & my expression went from casual reading expression to (☉。☉)! Before I read the next part because I had thought by Darkness it means The Darkness from the video game series, which happened to get a few Marvel comics for a bit unless it was that it began as a Marvel comic & it then became a game.

Ah & once arrogant stupidity wins again against a moron
What they found in the center of the crater shocked them to their very cores. A being of immense power, clearly not a Gem, lay broken and bleeding. Her form, usually radiant with the light of a thousand suns, was dim and flickering. Golden ichor, the blood of the gods, seeped from numerous wounds across her body.

'I know I've already got Minor Blessing, but Campfire seems more cost-effective for groups. Technically it's the most valuable spell that's being offered.' Colt suddenly frowned as he had another thought. 'Why do I feel like I'm falling into the role of a healer?'
