Why does this feel like a repeat?

In the 4ok universe it works because there are so many humans working together and it's a meat grinder of a universe but here there are only 3 true believers.

I am uncertain about my feelings towards the Chaos Gods in this universe, as they possess a tremendous amount of power for only three space Marines. The Chaos demons are unable to die and continue to return. The only reason for the imperium of man not being in the dirt is due to the number of inexcusable number of brainwashed solders.
