It honestly needs work. The mc rarely interacts with other characters. I don't think as of chapter 12 he has directly interacted with Felicity, Thea, any of the Lances or really had a conversation with Malcom. Marcus mostly does stuff behind the scenes which is fine I guess but he could feel more a part of the story as opposed to a borderline omnipotent god who occasionally meddles with the storyline.
Quick math on the Netflix shares. He owns roughly 13-14 million shares. The stock splits in 2015 at a 7:1 ratio. So, if he holds until today, he would have 90+ million shares at a price of almost 764 dollars per share. Thats almost 69 billion dollars.

The author kills the story with his comedy. Lmao, the fact this is tagged as "dark" when half the chapters are just 1000 word jokes is just sad. He kills character development to be "funny." The number of times he has done the stupid trope of the character zoning out while in his own head is obscene. The overwhelming majority of character interactions are with the idiot in his head, while characters in the real world get like 2 lines every couple of chapters. But my biggest gripe is that he isn't getting better as a writer, which also means the mc can't grow. Sure, Orion gets stronger, but he feels just as childish in year 3 as he did in year 1. Many of these issues become more prevalent and frequent over time, not less. Overall, it's an interesting world he's built ruined for cheap laughs, and that makes me sad.
